How does DREAMPLAY work?

During a dreamplay event one member might elect to share their dream. Other members might ask clarifying questions. The whole group might incorporate somatic movement, theater, wordplay or other activities to see the dream from another perspective. Group members then contribute their ideas about the dreamers dream from their own perspective using the phrase /“if it were my dream” to acknowledge that only the dreamer has the power to define what their dreams mean to them. It’s in this way that dreamplay empowers the dreamer and gives them the self confidence to discover themselves… with help from the homies and some creative exploration. The final and pivotal piece to the dreamplay event is that each member who shares their dream will be asked to take an action that honors the dream. Its one of the way of making our night dreams active in our waking reality. Each event will center two to three dreams. The dreams of others are often a direct portal to understanding our own waking perceptions and form a potent medicine for everyone./

What Do I need to bring?

Bring yourself, a willingness to come out of hiding, a dream journal, blankets and pillows if you please.
